Grilled Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich!

Grilled Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich!

Ingredients:

Ribeye Steak (de boned)
Provolone Slices
Green Bell Pepper
Red Bell Pepper
Onions
Butter
Flour
2 Cups Milk
Ground Mustard
Cayenne Pepper
Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
BBQ Rub with pepper

Preparation:

In order to thinly slice the ribeye it will need to be a little firm. Wrap the ribeye in plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for about an hour. Once firm, slice the ribeye into paper-thin strips of steak. If you are having peppers and onions on your cheese steak now is the time to slice both green peppers, red bell peppers and some onions. Mix these while you cook. Place these in a bowl once ready.

Next we will prepare the cheese sauce. Start with some butter and flour in a small pot. Mix with 2 cups of milk and let that come together until it gets a bit thick. Add in a pinch of cayenne pepper and a bit of ground mustard for some heat. Add in the shredded cheese of your choice. I recommend a mix of sharp cheddar and pepper jack. Add heat to the pot and stir occasionally. Add salt and pepper for flavor. If you’d like some heat add in a hot sauce of your choice.
