Recipe of sponge cake

 

 

Ingredients :
 
300 g of flour
1/2 sachet of yeast
One tbsp of baking powder
6 Eggs (medium)
200 g of sugar
1 sachet of vanilla sugar ( powder)
 
Preparation:
 
First whisk the egg whites until stiff and set aside, then in another bowl whisk the egg yolks with the sugar, add the vanilla sugar, sifted flour and baking powder.
Add the egg whites, mixing gently so that the mixture does not fall.
Then take a buttered and floured mould of about 22 cm diameter and pour the mixture into it.
Bake in the oven at 180 º for about 40 minutes,
Finally ... but always check the cooking with the toothpick test. Contributed
